Inter Island Airways thrives to ensure that children have a great flying experience with us. We also want to make sure that Infants traveling with their parents or guardian are properly secured and transported on our flight.

Infants under 2 years of ageInfants occupying a seat will pay the charge of a child fare if offered for the specific flight. A maximum of one (1) infant is permitted for each adult. Inter Island Airways recommends the child be placed in an approved infant safety seat. Infants under 7 days of age will not be accepted for transportation unless a medical statement is presented stating the infant is stable for travel. All infants must be accompanied by an adult of 18 years of age or over.

Accompanied MinorsChildren under 14 years of age are accepted for transportation when accompanied on the same flight by a passenger at least 16 years of age.

Unaccompanied MinorsChildren under 14 and at least 5 years of age who are not accompanied on the same flight by a passenger 16 years of age or over or considered "Unaccompanied Minors". Under this situation, the parent or guardian of the child agrees to transport the child/minor on an Inter Island Airways flight under airline supervision.
